Hello, travelers! Welcome to my blog. 👋
As a local living in South Korea, I know how exciting—and sometimes frustrating—traveling here can be. Korea is extremely safe and beautiful, but the language barrier and strict local systems (like needing a Korean phone number for almost everything) can cause unexpected headaches for tourists.
That is exactly why I started this blog. But I want to take it one step further. I want to be your virtual local friend in Korea!
🤝 What I Can Help You With (For FREE!)
If you are planning a trip to Korea or are already here and suddenly need help, please don't panic. You can reach out to me! Here are some quick things I can help you with entirely for free:
- Making a Phone Call: Need to check if a specific restaurant/cafe is open today? Or want to know if they accept walk-ins? I can call them for you in Korean!
- Quick Translations: Got a screenshot of a Korean menu or a sign you don't understand? Send it to me!
- Naver Map Searches: Having trouble finding a specific spot on English Google Maps? I'll find the exact Naver Map link for you.
- Lost & Found Checks: Left something on the subway or at a cafe? I can call the customer service center for you.
⚠️ A Few Small Rules
I genuinely love helping people experience the best of Korea! However, since I am doing this in my free time alongside my main job, please understand:
1. Quick tasks only, please. (I cannot plan your entire 7-day itinerary or act as a 24/7 tour guide!)
2. Time difference. I live in the KST (Korean Standard Time) timezone. Please allow up to 12~24 hours for a response if I am sleeping or working.
